September’s Ipsy “16

Processed with Snapseed.
Another bag added to the collection!

Hello Darlings!

How are you on this long ass Wednesday? My day seemed to keep on going and going!

So now I sit with my favorite people all cozy on the couch with my favorite collagen masks and lemon zinger tea.

I was not impressed with my ipsy bag this month. I saw my sisters pic of hers on Instagram (mlouise21)  and thought it was going to be a good month.

I will say it was not the worst bag so that is a plus.

Processed with Snapseed.

First up is this exfoliating cleanser by Befine. I have recieved other products from this company in received bags and they are good. This has no scent and Paraben free. I will never complain about an exfoliat if it seems to do the job. This one is all right but I would not buy it.

Processed with Snapseed.

Next is tonic by Radial. The dragon’s blood caught my attention right of the bat because it helps keep your skin safe from daily damages. When I run out of my other mist in my purse I will throw this one in. I use these through out the day and on no makeup days.

Processed with Snapseed.

You know I love mascara so this was a nice surprise. It is the superhero by IT cosmetics in super black. I have been giving this a go this week and it is a bit wet for me. I think in a couple of days when it has dried up just a little it will be perfect.

I also exfoliate a nail polish by Bombshell Cosmetics in Va Vroom. I would have added a pic but I cant find the damn bottle! I used it Sunday night and I don’t remember where I put it (I need sleep haha) anyway the color is received. It is a dark blue perfect for fall and it does a good job staying on. The brush was wider so it took me a minute to get used to it.

Processed with Snapseed.
Bummer!

So this sucks but not the end of the world. This is a highlight stick from beautiful in Maldives. It is a pretty highlight and I’m sure I could still use it. I was surprised t see in that big of a package that was all the product.

Alright folks that is this months bag! lol What was in yours? Did you get something that really made your bag?

XOXO

Becca

High End Jewelry on a Budget

FullSizeRender 16

Hello Darlings!

The week is over! Well for most I know some have different schedules!

Do you love jewelry but hate how one piece can cost? Well this is the information you have been looking for!

Rocksbox is a monthly subscription box that cost $19. Might seem a bit much but you get high end jewelry in every box. You can also exchange it as many times as you want in a month.

Let’s say you get a box one week and you wear the pieces but would like send them back for different ones. You can do this as many times in a month as you wish and it will only be a one time monthly fee of $19.

If you get a piece you must have to have you can buy it and send the rest back. The great thing is you get the pieces at discount pieces and they just started this thing called “shiner money” which is free $10 to spend as you wish on a piece.

FullSizeRender 15
Diamond Cuff in Silver by Nashelle normally $48 but discount $38

One of my Favorite things about the site is that you create a wish list. This is where you look at all the pieces they have and any you like click the star icon and it ends up on your list to be sent out to you.

I review every piece of Jewelry after I have received a box and worn it. This is how the designers of the boxes help make every box custom to you. I will also let them know of a special event so they can send me a statement piece.

FullSizeRender 14
Bar Pendant Necklace in silver by Jill Michael $48 but discount $38

They also have an Instagram here where you can take a peek to see if you like anything. Once you become a member if you like something they post, you just comment #wishlist and it will be added to your list! They seem to get new pieces in all the time!

FullSizeRender 13
Aston Earrings In Black Pearl By Kendra Scott $75 but discount $60

Sometimes the discount might not seem like much but if you take that plus the free $10 they give you a month it can make a piece you have had your eye one you get feel great about getting!

IF you would like to try this out I have a code for you to get your first month FREE! Again you can get more than one box in a month so it’s like getting several for FREE! You just have to go to their page and the code is ROBECCABFF you can always cancel at anytime without a hassle.

New Beauty Reviews

Hello Darlings!

How is your week going so far? Mine has been a nightmare! LOL Seems everyday a new challenge would pop up but I have it all under control 🙂

Today I want to talk about a few products that I had received in my latest testtube from NewBeauty. If you would like to check out NewBeauty go here and check out this post to see if looks like something you would be into.

I also have a special offer for half off your first testtube that I will be mentioning at the end.

IMG_1797

I feel like starting with hair care this time.

I have used this all up in about 3 washes. Normally I would save these travel size for actual travel but I had heard good things.

I have been coloring my hair lately so I thought it would be a good time to try it. This is from Goldwell and it is the color shampoo with color intensive luster mask.

The shampoo has no harmful sulfates so it helps color last longer and prevent against future damage. With the few times I was able to use it I noticed it smelled good, worked and lathered in hair nicely. My hair felt really and I mean really clean after I rinsed.

The mask is formulated for color hair to deep condition and treat the hair. It leaves hair vibrant and adds shine. I noticed it was best to just have mask on the ends of my hair. When I used it everywhere it made my hair greasy at roots but after I used it on ends and mid shaft I did not have this problem. I noticed immediately once dry that it really does add shine!

In the end I wish I would have been able to use it a bit longer but I would still make the decision to purchase this. It is a great combo for colored hair. The Full size of shampoo is $28 and the Mask is $45. The mask seems a bit much but when you think about how often you really use it (about once a week) it will last awhile.

I use a wide tooth comb in the shower to evenly spread a mask but I have never used a comb like this before. This comb is used for styling and regular brushing. It is made from Denman and called the D12 Three-Row Comb and costs $6.

I used this comb after a shower and once I put in my leave in creme and oil. It detangled just fine but I still prefer my wet brush. As for styling it works great to separate hair or to add volume by teasing.

IMG_1803

I have been using this primer for about 2 weeks now and it clams to boost length and thickness for a false lash look while strengthening lashes with peptides for better results over time. It is from Grandelashmd and this full size is $25.

Using this reminds me a lot of the primer in the L’Oreal Paris Double Mascara or L’Oreal Paris Voluminous which works just fine plus you get a mascara on the other end.

It goes on white and you are supposed to put your mascara on right after. It made my mascara thinker but clumpy in some areas. In my opinion it did not look like false lashes. I will remember to take a picture tomorrow and post it on my Instagram (JustRobecca) and snapchat (Becca_beeley) so you can judge yourself.

I will not be purchasing this but I do love the L’Oreal ones so I will continue to use those.

IMG_1798

So in this testtube I only received one of these but these where the two you could have gotten in yours. These sheet masks are from Leaders Cosmetics and average around $7 a mask.

I received in my testtube the Balancing Recovery Mask and I actually just used it last night and I am hooked! I can only imagine what the BlueBerry SuperFood must be like or any of the others for that matter.

I first noticed it was really soaked in the product. You know how when you open a sheet mask and it is wet and covered in the serum well this was really covered! You take the paper off and stick it on your face like any other sheet mask. I didn’t even have to get the extra serum out of pouch to apply on my neck my hands where covered in it. My face and neck were drenched in this mask!

I left it on for about 30 minutes ( I usually do with sheet masks to really get as much out of it as possible) when I took it off I rubbed excess serum in my skin. About an hour later I noticed my skin was a glow and looked so amazing!

I will be checking out a few more of these masks and purchasing this one for sure!

IMG_1799

Now last week I had planned on doing a whole post on this product but I realized to buy it you have to have a Professional Skincare code such as from your dermatologist or Esthetician. I figured most of you would find it a pain to hear great things about a product and than have to get an access code to purchase. If I am wrong I would be happy to post it just let me know in the comments below. 🙂

Just in case most of you decide to see the full post I will only give a few of my thoughts.

First off I am going to be purchasing this! I love it! It is a Polish Enzyme Firming Mask from Osmosis Skincare.

I noticed my skin looking fresh and renewed after every use! It was like it polished away all the dead skin and let the new vibrant show.

That will be all I will say for now.

IMG_1801

This has been my daily refresher the last week. It is from June Jacobs and is a great mist or toner. Full Size is $38 and the travel which is what I have is $7.

The smell is amazing! It reminds me of sweet tarts which probably sounds weird to put on your face but I love it. I had started to use it as my daily toner and than carried in my hand bag for refreshers during day. (This was nice except I must have gotten a faulty bottle because it leaked. I couldn’t figure out from where and the cap was on good. My only con on the product and it may just be a package problem.

This gave my skin back its hydration after a good cleanse or drying mask. It has a lot of antioxidants and extracts that help with signs of aging as well! What is not to like.

IMG_1802

Lastly, is two polishes that help your nails. They are from Probelle full size is $14 (however you can find them on amazon and they are a bit cheaper) I received both of these and so far I have no complaints. You use them together formula 1 than 2.

For the first 2 weeks I used the Nail Hardener which is formula 1. You have to put one coat on daily and at the end of the week take it off. I did this for 2 weeks because my nails were really weak and broke easily. Then would bend easily too which if this has ever happened to you you know it sucks!

I will say they are way better! They are not peeling or breaking as easy and they look really nice. I think I would like to do this treatment again every couple of weeks.

After those 2 weeks where over I began to use the Nail Maintenance. My first thought was this weird because it is made with lime and garlic but don’t worry it does not smell gross or strong. It really does make your nails shine and grow! I swear they grow so fast now it is crazy.

I will continue to use these and buy them once gone if I find nothing better.

What was the product that caught your attention? Will you try any of these?

Don’t Forget if you want the full post on Polish Enzyme mask comment below!

Now for those that stuck around if you would like percentage taken off the normal price of $39 for the NewBeauty TestTube ( It comes every other month) I need your email to send you an invite. Once you get the invite it will let you know how much to save. If you decide it is not worth it just don’t follow through with the rest. You can leave your email in the direct message to me (in the drop down menu on the left) or feel free to email me (Robecca.Beeley@gmail.com)

As always you can find me on all social media!

Sephora Play July “16

IMG_1728

Hello Darlings!

Happy hump day! The week is half way over already which is exciting.

Speaking of exciting I am no longer on the wait list for Sephora play and have received my first box this month!

For those that do not know, Sephora play is a monthly subscription box for $10. It comes with 5 samples from lines Sephora carries plus a fragrance sample as a bonus. (not much of a bonus in my opinion)

IMG_1730

Each box also comes with a card like in picture above. If you bring this card in to a store you get a FREE one-on-one tutorial or advice just for you.

When you use this card if you purchase anything you get an extra 50 points! Which is really nice and on the back of card it tells you when it expires. This one does not expire till August 31st so plenty of time to use it.

IMG_1732

Every month all the products come in a cute little bag. They are not as sturdy as an ipsy bag but I’m sure one could find a use for it. ( More on ipsy here and here)

As you can see I received the 5 samples and 1 fragrance sample. I would say the brands are really good and was happy with the samples.

FullSizeRender-8

Let’s get into the products!

First off is a primer from Smashbox. This is the photo finish pore minimizing primer which is recommended for combination to oily skin. A full size retails for $39. This reminded me a lot of Benefits POREfessional face primer in color and consistency. I have only used it a few times but I think it works really well as one can expect in this Oklahoma heat.

If you like the Porefessional one I would give this one a try since the full (largest size) of the Benefit one is $55!

IMG_1735

Next, is a cleanser from First Aid Beauty which is a line I have become very fond of. This is a skin rescue deep cleanser w/ red clay to help remove excess oil while purifying  and balancing skin. Full size retails for $24.

I have not used this yet since I already have a cleanser open so I will keep you posted on my thoughts.

This bronzer from Too Faced not only is pretty but smells like chocolate! This is the Soleil Matte Bronzer in chocolate of course lol. It retails for $30 and it is a beautiful lightweight formula. I have used it as an all over bronzer to help give my pale face some color LOL. It looks really nice and natural.

IMG_1741

IMG_1742

This next product I’m not so sure about. Everyone knows about the beauty blender (if not it is a sponge used wet usually to apply makeup) and this sponge is made from the same company. This is the blotterazzi sponge that is used to blot off excess oil. It usually comes in a cute compact cast with 2 sponges and retails for $20.

They say it can be washed and reused which seems better than the blotting papers. I remember learning that when using blotting papers you are actually pushing in the days dirt and oil into your skin. They do remove the oil and a bit of makeup (you can see it on sponge) but not to noticeable. I would not but this personally but for someone who spends a lot on blotting papers might enjoy this.

IMG_1737

The one hair care product I got was from Ouai which I have heard great things about but never tried anything. This is the Wave Spray that full size retails for $26. This gives hair that effortless look or beachy hair. I have not used this yet because I have tried several sprays like this and hate the way my hair looks.

I will give it a go and see if it is any different. As always I will keep you posted.

IMG_1734

IMG_1733

Lastly, is the fragrance sample. I have heard of NEST Before but never sampled it. This is the Citrine for $68 in full size. I have posted the notes of the scent above since I suck at explaining it. It is not a bad scent but not something I would normally wear. I would suggest swinging by the counter and testing it out yourself since everyone is different.

That concludes everything in the bag! I’d say not bad for the first one but I will give it a few months before deciding if it is worth it.

Any questions please ask! As always you can reach me at my social accounts or in the comment section.

Till next time,

XOXO

Becca
