Goodbye Blemishes & Cysts

Hand-Holding High Frequency Kit

Hello Darlings!

Today I am going to be talking about one of my favorite tools I use on blemishes.

In Esthetics school this was a tool we learned and used a lot! This one is not as powerful as the ones that are professional that we had in school but does just as great of a job.

The high-frequency electrotherapy uses the glass electrode tube to produce high frequency current, when used on face, achieves the treatment result.

You can literally take a before pic and by the next day already see results! I use this everyday till the problem is gone. Some take longer than others it just depends on if it is a blemish or cyst. I still always notice a difference the next day.

I literally found this on amazon as did some of my classmates haha! (We love it)

You can easily use this at your home and can buy it here just like I did. You could also ask your esthetician if they offer it. Some offer as an add on and others just a nice little service.

Hand Piece//Glass Tubes

This kit includes a few different Glass tubes that are the pieces you choose for different areas. This is great like I said for blemishes, cysts, etc.

This is super simple to use and put together. Each glass piece has a metal bar on the bottom which is what you insert into the handle. It slides in easily so no need to add a lot of pressure..Remember they are GLASS and can break easily.

The glass side is used on face or hair. Just turn the dial to intensity level wanted and run over area’s you want treated for a few seconds. (Follow on snapchat to see in action every now and again)

Yes the handle looks like it could be a model for other things!

comb tube

This comb tube is great for beards! (YES men will love this machine as well)

This mushroom tube is my most used! I get breakouts on my jawline and neck (hormonal) usually a nasty cyst. I use this one to really cover the area and it lays flat.

I use this one around the nose area. The shape makes it easy to get around the curves.

I had almost forgot this one because I really never use it. It is called the tongue tube but is NOT meant for the tongue. Use only on skin areas!

This is the easiest machine to use and I love I can use it in my home!

March Sephora Play “17

sephora march

It’s that time again where we go over the wonderful goodies in my monthly Sephora play box!

This is a monthly subscription for $10!

Starting off with this lovely lipstick from Urban Decay. This is from the VICE line and is in the color “BIG BANG”. It is a creamy, bold statement color with a metallic sparkle. This is not really a color I would ever reach for…I suppose I will have to give it a go… Full Size $17

verb oil

I have not heard of VERB before so I am excited to give this Ghost Oil a try. It says it is a restorative hair oil that smooths frizz and delivers shine. In the “how to use” it suggest using at the end of a hair do…on the tips. Full Size $14

I have tried a lot of the Glamglow masks and love them! This is their mega illuminating moisturizer. It looks like it has a little bit of a tint to it so it might be good for no make up days or quick errand days. It does say you can wear alone or with foundation so I imagine it has no coverage just helps hydrate and plump skin. Full Size $49

Atelier Cologne: Clementine California

This box always comes with a perfume sample and this one comes with a cute postcard. It is ATELIER COLOGNE : CLEMENTINE CALIFORNIA it smells of citrus and florals. It is not to strong and wears nicely. Full Size $130

josie maran

I use the hair oil in my moisturizer from Josie Maran but that is all I have really used. This is a Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm. It claims to prime and moisturize the skin which seems great! I will use this as a primer most likely and let you know my thoughts. Full size $36

Since this month’s theme was all about the glow it continues with Becca’s Shimmering skin perfector in opal. This is a light cream that adds a subtle luminosity and golden pearl shade for a lovely dewy look. You can use this mixed in foundation for all over or as a highlight. I will use it as a highlight myself. Full Size $41

I was happy with this month’s box even thought the lip is a bit bold. I will use everything else for sure!

What did you get in yours? We would all love to know!

Polish I’m Loving for Spring

Hello Darlings!

Anyone else ready for spring? The weather has been pretty warm (like 80) most days but a few nice spring days. I feel we will go straight to summer heat and not really get to enjoy the spring weather. What is it like where you are?

FullSizeRender 6

I have been bringing out my spring colors when I actually paint my nails…I’m lazy! I hate not having them painted but I have been using a hardening formula. I do paint my own nails more than going to get them done mainly because it is cheaper.

As I’m sure you can tell I love O.P.I and Essie. I do have more Essie than O.P.I but I seem to like the colors more.

Starting with my O.P.I colors I put them next to each other so you could see there is a difference. It is a little hard to tell not just in pictures but in person as well.

FullSizeRender 8

This first color is “Alpine Snow” which is a a pale white color. I love it for spring and summer.

FullSizeRender 4

The second color is “Be There in a Prosecco” which is a pale nude. I will wear this color year round but find myself reaching for it more in spring.

I love the names that both companies come up with!

Moving on to Essie…

Yes I know there is a white and nude in this set too…but I swear they are different LOL

FullSizeRender 3

This is “cocktails & coconuts” it is a pale nude BUT it has some light sparkles in it! SEE it is different! haha This is another go to for spring and will continue into summer.

FullSizeRender 5

This is “now and zen” which is a pretty light mauve green color. I love it! I wear this year round too!

FullSizeRender 2

This is the other white in “Blanc” and it is more of a real white where the other is buildable. I like the O.P.I for a lighter pale look.

Lastly, of the Essie group is this “bikini so teeny” which is a pretty pale blue. This is my most go to spring color.

I wanted to throw in another color from a brand I don’t really buy often. I love this color but the polish bubbles (tiny bubbles when it is dry so annoying) which makes is peel in a day.

FullSizeRender 7

This is a pretty pale pink “Kiss the bride” I think this color looks so pretty with a tan! I just which I could figure out the formula. I know Essie and O.P.I have color options close to this that I will have to check in to. Does anyone else have this problem?

What polish do you love? Do you paint your own or go somewhere?

Updated Healthy Tips

Hello Darlings!

Today I just wanted to update some of my vitamins I have discussed before along with a few other things.

I am a huge tea drink now I love coffee as well but tea is for my evenings. I really enjoy drinking a cup after dinner. Yogi is a brand I like because of the variety you can see they offer. During the flu/allergy season it is a must. I always pick up the stress (with lavender honey taste better), cold season sampler (it has the mix for all your needs) and detox.

I add a little honey to them all and it is great! At this very moment I am doing the detox tea 3 times a day with a tablespoon of honey. I will do just one box and give my body a rest. My digestion never seems to run right no matter how well I eat, or supplements I take so doing this once in a while seems to help.

I have recently gotten off the depo provera birth control shot after being on it for 12 years. I know that is a long time and has taken a huge toll on my body. I am starting to get breakouts in the normal hormonal areas and thought about trying skin detox from yogi next to see if I noticed any difference.

I have mentioned before that I take a probiotic twice a day. This is my normal brand I take and have had really good results. I have thought about trying some from my local health food store but they where $50+ and decided it was not worth it.

FullSizeRender 2

I am religious about taking a magnesium supplement twice a day. Magnesium has a lot of great benefits and I know you can get if from food such as leafy greens but I am positive I do not get enough from food alone. Magnesium can be great for those that don’t sleep well, migraines, and anxiety. I do not remember where I bought the ones in pic but I have just been getting mine from my local vitamin store. I also use this and I love it! If I am stressing over something at night I will make me a cup of this and it really does calm me down and I sleep very well.

I have been trying out some Vitamin D supplements as well and as soon as I find a favorite I will let you know!

Empty Product Reviews

Hello Darlings!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a fantastic week and I’m sure you are glad it is over!

It has been awhile since I have done a product empties post but I finally had a few bits and bobs laying around.

These are just some products I have fully used up so I can really give my best review and thoughts on them.

If you have been with me for awhile than you already know I have been using these two Origins products for years now. First up is the High Potency Night-A-Mins mineral-enriched renewal cream. I have combo dry-oily skin so using this for my nighttime moisturizer is great. I wake up with plump, non-greasy, moisturized skin. (they do have a oil-free one as well)  The second product is my morning eye cream.($43)

This GinZing eye cream is a lifesaver! I use it ever morning and it helps me look refreshed and my eye makeup better since I do not have to try and cover up bags/dark circles.($30)

I have been using oil cleansers for a little bit now but this Dizzolv’It makeup melt cleansing balm was really nice. It took off my makeup with out any problems and did not make me break out. It can be purchased from the link above and it retails for $24.

This next product was a luxury item in a pretty package. This is liquid gold peptides by Gavee Gold. The item in picture is a travel size and so is the packaging. Normally it comes in a normal bottle and retails for $155. This is a serum which has some of the best ingredients for hydration and to help with the appearance of wrinkle like hyaluronic acid.

Dermalogica makes a precleanse which can be found at your local Ulta ($40). I love this for removing my eye makeup. It takes off hard to remove liquid liner and waterproof mascara like nothing.

I know people use this oil everywhere but let’s be real…it is pricy to be using all over your body, face, and hair. I use this by taking a full dropper and adding it to my dollop of moisturizer in my hand before applying it to my body. My skin drinks this up especially during the winter. 100% pure argan oil retails for $48

This is the oil I have been using for my hair. It is the no frizz oil by Balanced Guru which is an organic company retails for $25. This is light weight which is great for those that get really oily hair or have thin hair. I enjoy this because my hair tends to frizz and this is formulated for that.

I had gotten this product in an ipsy bag a few months ago and I’m so glad I did! This is hyaluronic tonic of the dragon’s blood line from Rodial. I have already said a few great things about hyaluronic acid so that should be a reason right there to add this to your list. It retails for $42 in the full size. They have several lines along with different kinds of products. I have a wishlist of other products I want to try but if you are in need of a toner check this one out.

I love the de-slick oil control ($15-$31) and the all nighter ($15-$31) just the same. I think I need to compare them during the summer because I feel the de-slick might work better during those months. What are your thoughts??

I am a big self-tanner so I am trying out new ones all the time. I do think I have found a new favorite (post on that soon) but this one is pretty good. This is pHenomenal 2-3 week by Vita Liberta. I got mine in Medium but it comes in light, medium, and dark. This is a luxury tan that is really nice, easy to apply with mitt, golden color, lasted 2 weeks. It does retail for $54 which I think is crazy.

Okay lastly, this is a product that got a full post all to it’s self so I will not go into much detail. This is a replenishing hydrator by HADA LABO TOKYO. It is the best thing I have ever added to my skin care routine! Trust me you need this!

Till next time,
